The Russian searchers gave to Ukraine the remains of two soldiers
They both died near Smolensk in late 1941.
For 75 years, Gregory Devyatko and Vasily Kornienko have been considered missing. They both went to the front when they were a bit more than 20. At home there stayed families who, unfortunately, did not manage to wait for their close people from the war. In personal files of the soldiers there is a miserly and terrifying world-combination "has been missed". Now, more than half an age later their relatives have received a piece of news: your grandfather died in 1941 defending Smolensk region from the Nazi invaders.
